Subud California at Santa Cruz, a non-profit corporation and spiritual center, welcomes you to our
home in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. We are located in the Soquel Creek valley, a
semi-rural area surrounded by redwoods and oaks. There are hawks, owls, and occasional deer sightings
from our back door.
We offer a meeting place which has a peaceful, spacious atmosphere for workshops, day-long retreats, ongoing classes, and seminars.
We request that no alcoholic beverages be served on-site, and that smoking occurs outside only.
History
In 1869, a one-room school house was built on this site. In 1908, it was replaced by the current
structure, which served as the school building for the Mountain School District until 1972, when
it was purchased by Subud California. Many local residents attended school here.
